Sanitas Avanza is a health plan that doesn’t include hospitalisation that offers a wide medical care with in-person consultation and also video-consultations. This is the only plan that doesn’t include hospitalisation that does include around 400 surgical procedures. These include some very common ones such as the removal of cysts, papilomas, skin lesions, tooth extractions or phimosis among many others.
- Primary care and medical specialties (cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, neurology, gynecology, traumatology, ophthalmology, oncology, psychiatry, etc.).
- Simple diagnostic tests (Clinical analyses, X-rays, smear tests, mammograms, etc.) and ultrasound scans.
- High-tech diagnostic tests (MRI, CT scans, endoscopy, colonoscopy, etc.)
- Outpatient surgery (more than 400 surgical procedures grades 0,I,II by WHO).
- Video-consultations with specialists (with all medical specialties. More than 2700 doctors at your disposal on your phone.
- Basic dental cover (consultation, cures, cleaning and extractions)
- Digital programs: nutrition, personal trainer, pregnancy and child care
- Simple therapeutic metods (physiotherapy, ventilation therapy, pacemaker monitoring.
A qualification period or waiting period is the time from the policy starting date to the moment you will be covered for certain services. Only these following services have waiting periods:
Surgical procedures grades 0,I,II (by WHO): 3 months
High-tech diagnostic tests: 6 months
The máximum contract age is 59 years old.
There is no máximum age of permanence.
- From 0 to 6 services: 0€
- From 7-15 services: 5€
- From 16th service and onwards: 10€
- Emergencies: 8€
- Diagnostic tests, therapeutic methods and surgery: 12€
- High-frequency services*: 20€
- Annual limit per insured: 350€**
*physiotherapy (10 sessions), ventilation therapy (15 sessiones) and oxigen therapy (30 days CPAP and BPAP and 15 days for aerosol therapy).
**Services will count per insured per year. If the insured reaches the limit, Sanitas will pay the rest. No copays will be applied regardless of the service included in the plan’s cover.
